1. Service Definition
Lawkraft provides legal technology and services including: case file draft automation, notice drafting, NPA recovery management, arrest warrant (NBW) execution, and arbitration award recovery. Our team comprises qualified advocates and paralegals who execute these services under applicable Indian law.
2. Engagement & Fees
Engagement occurs upon execution of a formal engagement letter. Fees are based on the agreed service scope and may include:
- Fixed fees for specific deliverables (notice drafting, case filing)
- Success-based fees for recovery or execution matters
- Reimbursable expenses (court fees, postage, service costs)
All fees and terms must be explicitly documented. No services are provided on a verbal or informal basis.
3. Our Scope & Limitations
Lawkraft provides legal services within Indian jurisdiction. We cannot:
- Guarantee specific case outcomes or recovery amounts
- Represent you in matters outside our stated engagement scope
- Provide services in jurisdictions where we are not registered or licensed
- Serve as your exclusive legal counsel for matters beyond those specified
4. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete information about your cases and debtors
- Inform us of material changes (debtor contact details, payment status, settlement)
- Pay fees according to the agreed schedule
- Notify us of any legal proceedings involving the same debtor or matter
5. Confidentiality
Information shared with Lawkraft is treated as confidential and protected under attorney-client privilege principles. We do not disclose case details, advice, or client identities without authorisation or legal obligation. Our team is bound by professional confidentiality standards.
6. No Guarantee of Results
Legal outcomes depend on facts, evidence, applicable law, and judicial discretion. Lawkraft does not guarantee case outcomes, specific recovery amounts, or timelines. Recovery depends on debtor solvency, asset availability, and jurisdiction-specific procedures.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice. Outstanding fees remain due. Upon termination, we will provide case files and transition support as required by professional standards.
8. Limitation of Liability
Lawkraft's total liability for any claim is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost profits arising from our services or any failure to perform.
9. Dispute Resolution
Disputes arising from these terms or your engagement shall be resolved through:
- Good faith negotiation between parties
- Mediation if negotiation fails
- Arbitration or litigation under Indian law and Bangalore jurisdiction
10. Compliance with Law
Lawkraft operates in compliance with Indian legal and regulatory requirements. We reserve the right to refuse engagement or terminate services if we determine the matter involves illegal activity, involves fraud, or falls outside our practice areas.
11. Modifications to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Changes do not apply retroactively to existing engagements unless explicitly agreed in writing.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with your signed engagement letter, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lawkraft. Any prior discussions, representations, or agreements are superseded.
